This is one of the recipes we will be snacking on during the Super Bowl party we are having at my sister's house.  My sister Shelley loves to host parties!  She goes all out with the food and decorations.  But for me, this party is going to be all about the football game.  I love the Broncos and will be cheering them on while I enjoy good food and family time.

Japapeno Poppers

14 to 16 Jalapeno peppers, sliced in half, seeds and veins removed
1 (8 ounce) container cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
8 slices bacon, cooked

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In small bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and 4 slices of finely  crumbled bacon.  Spoon cheese mixture into jalapeno pepper halves, place on a baking sheet.  Top with remaining crumbled bacon.  Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and starting to brown.

I am a huge football fan!  I can't wait for Sunday's big Bronco game!  We are going to my sister's house to watch the game and munch on snacks.  This is one of the dishes I plan to take.  I am making them ahead of time and will bake them at my sister's house.

GO BRONCOS!!!!!

1 (16.5 ounce) package refrigerated sugar cookie dough
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted

In medium bowl, combine cookie dough and flour.  Mix well.  Refrigerate 20 minutes.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.  Mix well.  Form cookie dough into 1 inch balls.  Dip in butter.  Roll in sugar.

Place on ungreased baking sheet.  Bake 11 to 13 minutes.

My Great Grandmother Lina, loved to made Snicker Doodle Cookies for us and we loved to eat them!  I wish I had her recipe, but this one is close in taste and it is a shortcut recipe so it saves you time.  I think Grandma would have approved. :)

I have lots of leftover baking items that I had planned to use at Christmas time.  I don't want to stuff my cupboards with them, so I am using them up.  My husband loves these cookies, and is very happy with this plan.
