Grilled Balsamic Chicken

Grilled Balsamic Chicken

1 cup balsamic vinegar
2/3 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons honey
1 (0.7 ounce) packet Italian salad dressing mix
6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Combine all ingredients in a re-sealable plastic bag. Shake to combine.  Place bag in a large bowl and marinate 4 to 12 hours.

Grill or bake until chicken is cooked through.

This is my favorite chicken marinade!  The chicken is so moist and full of sweet and savory flavors, that you will want to have seconds.

Check back on Tuesday, for pictures from my trip to

  1. Welcome home, Linda! This is a great recipe! The taste of balsamic vinegar is so good so I know this has to be a delicious marinade for the chicken. It's a must try! I'm looking forward to your South Africa post!

    2. I made it and it was very good. Even though I only let it marinate for 2 1/2 hours, it kept the chicken incredibly moist and flavorful. Definitely a keeper! THANKS!

  3. This look pretty and delicious! I have always been a fan of the salad dressing packet you just add vinegar and oil to and this is another great way to use it. Thanks for posting this!
