That is a very nice video, Linda! Would love to see more videos on cooking demo! That would be great! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou have great delivery on your video. I would watch them if they aren't too long. This one is just right! Good luck on your sales. I love putting cookbooks together, incorporating family history along with the recipes.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!

Linda, you are a natural; so "at ease" at doing a video and it would be great to see them on your blog. It definitely adds a personal touch and is a great way to connect with your readers. Cooking demos, tips, info about your cookbooks; it would all be great! Good job!!!
ReplyDeleteI personally don't care to see many videos in blogs. For one thing, I'd rather read than watch. For another thing, my computer time is often when others in my house are sleeping and I feel like videos are too noisy for those times. So, with a few exceptions, I just skip over video posts.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind watching videos but they do take ages to load up!
ReplyDeleteI think is really nice Linda, good job! gloria
ReplyDeleteLinda that is a great video but I can only see it because of my good connection in the UK. Once back in France I am unable to watch videos at all as the connection is so slow. I am inclined to steer clear of videos full stop simply because I know most of the time I cannot watch them anyway. Even here they take time to load. I am not a video fan although I have to admit to adding one of the Tour de France on my blog, but I cannot even view that in France!!! Diane
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that! I felt like I was watching a preview for an upcoming QVC segment.
ReplyDeleteI like watching videos on blogs if the recipe is a little difficult to understand. The first time I made lattice crust I watched a video so that I could see what the written directions were talking about.
Videos are great for those who are able to load and watch them. I don't generally watch videos because I have very limited bandwidth, and videos use it up quicker. If I do watch a video, it usually takes a long time to load due to my slowish connection. Thanks for the chance to win your cookbook and the knives!
ReplyDeleteSome people like videos for specific cooking procedures, but for others maybe a picture will do. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog, I am having a giveaway and hope you will be interested.
Love your easy to make approach of cooking. For our always in a hurry days, it seems very helpful.

I like videos but producing them is a pain in the tusch for me. I tried doing a few recipe ones last year and it was just too difficult and trying to keep them under 5 minutes leaves too much out.
ReplyDeleteThis year, I'm trying to stick to "tip videos" where I cover one specific tip that is general in nature but applies to the recipe I am posting. Something 120 seconds or less.
As far as videos in other blogs, I do watch them but prefer that they stay short.
I do like them!!! I was thinking about doing some too but just can't seem to get my act together - maybe one of these days...? Go for it!
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of videos...Keep posting them.
