Giveaway Time!

During the summer, I do cooking demos to promote my cookbooks.  The new aprons that I will be wearing for this years cooking demos have just arrived.  I have more aprons than I need for the demos, so I have decided to give one away on Friday along with a copy of My Kind of Cooking Cookbook.

I will be drawing a name from my followers to win a copy of my cookbook, MY KIND OF COOKING, this Friday, August 6th.  If your name is drawn and you have a blog, I will mention your blog address on my "Fast Food Friday's" radio show on the The Passion Radio Network, and then post your blog address on my blog.

Another great giveaway can be found at my blogging buddy, Bo's Blog (say that three times fast), Bo's Bowl.   Not only does he have great giveaways,  his recipes are incredible!  One visit to his blog and you will see why I faithfully follow it..

  1. This cookbook looks great. Sometimes, a simple recipe is all you have time for....or all you have money for.

I follow Bo's Bowl, too. It's one of my favorites! He has the best dessert/treat recipes.

  10. Very good! Mindy and I tried the dry rub for the grilled ribeyes this weekend. I used plain McCormick's paprika. Although it made for a beautiful steak and really helped seal in the juices, it didn't add quite as much flavor as we would have liked. Probably going to try it again substituting one of the tablespoons of paprika with Barnicle Dust and maybe try a different paprika. Half the fun of cooking is experimenting! Thanks for the recipe!

  11. Hi David, I am glad you tried the recipe. when I am serving this recipe to kids or adults who hate spicy food I use the regular paprika But when I grill this up for my family, we use the spicy paprika. It is a good way to introduce rubs to new cooks who are afraid of using spices. It gives them a place to start and gives them the confidence to experiment with spices. I am going to look for the Barnicle Dust, is sounds like something we would love.
